About us
Volkswind GmbH was established in 1993 and is a privately-run developer and operator of wind energy projects across Europe. Our aim is to achieve economically viable use of renewable energy through professional expertise and experience. We presently have an installed nominal capacity of over 200 MW.
Volkswind UK Ltd is a subsidiary of Volkswind GmbH and has been established since 2006. Our sole focus is the UK where we believe wind resource to be one of the most abundant forms of sustainable energy. We currently have projects in various stages across the UK, from the hills of Scotland to the South coast of the UK and are constantly looking to add to our portfolio.
