Planning Application
MORE >>
We are proposing a small scale wind farm development, of up to 5 turbines, near to the village of Watford, Northamptonshire.
Each turbine will have a rated power supply of up to 2.5 MW (megawatts) with hub heights of 80m and approx. rotor diameters of 90m, achieving a max. overall height of 126.5m.
With an overall installed power supply of up to 12.5MW, the wind farm will generate an incredible 34,000 MWh (megawatt hours) of clean and safe energy every year for the next 25 years. That is the equivalent of 7200 households per year*!
In terms of the environmental benefits, this would save up to approx. 14,000 tonnes** of the harmful greenhouse gas Carbon Dioxide. For more information on the environmental benefits of the project click here.
The following plan indicates our proposed site layout of the five turbines:-
